The Timor table lamp was designed as a decorative and functional light source for interior spaces. The design combines a wide lampshade with a central base, creating a stable and balanced composition.
The shape of the lamp allows for a soft distribution of light, spreading both downward and around the object. The proportions between shade and base create a calm and harmonious presence within the space.
Within Mid-Century Modern design, the lamp reflects Louis Kalff’s approach, where lighting is not only functional but also an integral part of the interior. The design combines simplicity with a clear formal language characteristic of the period.
The lamp is used on side tables, cabinets and desks where soft and atmospheric lighting is desired.
