Light Shade Floor Lamp

The Light Shade floor lamp by Moooi, designed by Jurgen Bey, is a striking example of Dutch Design where concept and form merge.

The design combines a traditional lamp — complete with a decorative base and shade — enclosed within a transparent outer shell. This creates a layered object where tradition and modernity visually interact.

The transparent shade reveals the inner structure, giving the piece an almost museum-like presence. The design plays with perception and context, inviting a new way of looking at everyday objects.

The Light Shade is particularly suited for interiors where identity and storytelling are key, such as conceptual living spaces, hospitality environments and architectural projects.
