Beso Lounge Armchair

Artifort is a Dutch design brand focused on seating furniture with a distinctive formal language. The brand combines comfort with sculptural forms and a strong attention to upholstery and color.

Artifort originated in the Netherlands and grew into a key name in modern furniture design during the second half of the 20th century. Influenced by designers such as Pierre Paulin, Geoffrey Harcourt, and René Holten, the brand developed a recognizable design language centered around organic lines and seating comfort. Typologies such as lounge chairs, sofas, and meeting chairs are approached as independent objects within a space, often with an almost sculptural character. Upholstery plays a crucial role, with textiles and color contributing significantly to the expression of the design. The combination of craftsmanship and industrial production creates a balance between precision and softness.
