The Plastic Side Chair is defined by a simple and functional form in which the seat and back are shaped as a continuous volume.

The shell follows a gentle curvature that supports the body and allows for a comfortable seating posture. The form remains clear and easy to read, without unnecessary detail.

The reduction in form and construction results in an object that integrates easily into different environments. The chair acts as a neutral yet clearly defined element within a space.

The use of plastic allows for a consistent and durable construction, suitable for everyday and project use.

Within Modernism, the chair aligns with an approach focused on simplicity, functionality and industrial production. In this context, the design can be understood within the broader design philosophy of Harry Bertoia, where reduction and clarity play an important role.

The chair is used in dining areas, waiting spaces and project environments where a versatile and accessible seating solution is required.
